| Kit was purchased at Pacific Fabrics/Issaquah;
05/08, mainly because it was on a closeout at 50% off. Directions are horrible.
Colors in photo with kit are terrible. Kit was put together on a shoestring
and very lacking. This Dick and Jane quilt was design by Marian Adcox and
suggested for "imtermediate quilters." Kit did not include Dimples
red 1st border fabric; had to buy additional 2 yds.@$9.99 from Fabric Depot/Portland;
11/05/08. The measurements in the kit had to be totally reworked on Roxanne
Carter, my quilting instructor. While I was making it, even additional modi-fications
had to be made. Completing this pattern, which appears to be so simple,
was a trying experience and one I would never recommend to anyone, most
especially a quilter! I am glad it is over! Being quilted by Krista Withers. |
