Royal Stars pattern by Roxanne Carter; 2008 Purchased fabric from Roxanne Carter, Ben Franklin, Monroe; Pacific Fabrics, Bellevue, etc. Quilted 05/27/12. This unfortunately was an example where the long-arm quilter ruined my quilt with horrible work. This quilt had required lengthy, difficult, and precise piecing, and it was given to the long-arm quilter in excellent and precise measurement and exactness. All of my work was for naught with the final result of the horrible quilting including fabric bulges, long-arm quilting seams to tack down the excess fabric poor alignment on the long-arm equipment had created, etc. The charge for this fiasco was unrepeatable and totally unjustified. The final result is a quilt that a quilter will want to hide from the eyes of all other quilters. |
