Using the fabrics designated, the block below was entered in the "Quilt for a Cure" Block Challenge during the Alaskan Cruise for a Cure trip held June 27, - July 4, 2004.

Quilt for a Cure Block Challenge

We were given fabrics to be used for a "Cruise for a Cure" quilt block challenge. There would be twelve blocks selected to form a "Cruise for a Cure" quilt to be presented in New York later this fall. There were approximately sixty-one blocks submitted. My block, pictured at left, made the final twelve. Sorry I am unable to obtain a larger image of the finished quilt, with layout and assembly by Roxanne Carter, but it is pictured below.
