Hot spots created using Image Map in Dreamweaver. Inserted fruitopt.jpg into imagemap.html page. Clicked appropriate table to transfer code. Commands are: Insert image; Select image from images folder; Highlight image; Image Property Inspector shows; Name map; Click hotspot tool; Enter alt.;Click hotspot tool again; Drag shape; Enter link. Press F12 to preview browser. Optimized jpeg is sized at 128 x 96 and is 11K.

These hot spots were created in Image Ready as an adjunct to PhotoShop. Not pleased with the image shown at left, decided to take original image into PhotoShop as a .psd and optimize it appropriately, then proceeding into Image Ready where the hot spots were created. Optimized jpeg image is sized at 275 x 206 and is 18K.
